Accessibility Commitment
At LRNR, we are committed to creating inclusive learning experiences accessible to all users, regardless of ability. Accessibility support is addressed in every stage of our product development process, aligned with WCAG 2.2 standards and relevant regulations. Our staff receive regular training in accessibility best practices to ensure an inclusive experience for all learners. We proactively identify and resolve barriers without relying solely on user feedback. We continuously improve our platform by engaging with diverse users and testing across assistive technologies.
Evaluation Methods Used:
A combination of automated and manual testing techniques was employed for the accessibility assessment as per WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines
- Manual assessments using assistive technologies like NVDA on Win /Chrome, VoiceOver on iOS/ Safari.
- Automated tests using browser extensions like WAVE, AXE DevTools v4.110.0
Notes:
The scope of this VPAT assessment primarily covers the LRNR platform's Personalized Homework and Interactive Textbook components. These include features such as homework creation, timed tests, grade books, reports, practice quizzes, interactive activities, videos, and flashcards.
"We acknowledge that current drag-based interactions do not meet WCAG 2.2’s 2.5.7 requirement. Our development team is evaluating accessible patterns such as keyboard-based reordering and single-tap interactions for inclusion in a future accessibility update."
Accessibility evaluations for Active Classroom, Attendance tracking, My Bank, and 3D Bodies & Cadaver-based activities are currently in progress. These components are actively being reviewed against WCAG 2.2 standards and are scheduled for inclusion in the platform’s accessibility roadmap, with targeted implementation in upcoming releases during Q3–Q4 2025 (July–December).
